I have been an RMT since 2002. After many ups, downs and zig-zags in my career, I have grown to really love what I do. Helping people feel better is important to me. Connecting with my clients matters to me.

I have always been a believer in massage for pain management and tension relief; for loosening, softening and releasing. As time goes on, what I find equally important is providing the time and space for my clients to unplug, unwind and give themselves a break! Life is busy. Life is stressful. Our nervous systems are as frazzled as our schedules. Massage helps.

During your appointment with me, I can focus on a particular issue or complaint, or I can do a general head-to-toe. We can develop an ongoing treatment plan with specific goals, or just make the most of your current visit. We can chat, or you can sleep. The point is, it’s your massage. I will do my best to meet your needs.

My only real agenda is to have you leave feeling better than when you came.

After thousands of massages, I can usually gauge what pressure and techniques are appropriate for different concerns and body types. Although I have strong hands and can do a deep massage, I don’t always believe deeper is better. If you are someone that only and always wants a really aggressive massage, I am not the right therapist for you. I don’t enjoy fighting the bodies on my table, nor do I think it’s effective.

I have recently developed a fascination for craniosacral therapy. Its techniques are slower and more subtle than massage therapy and it’s impact on the parasympathetic nervous system (the one that helps you rest and heal) is remarkable. Check out my website for a more detailed description and/or try a session and see if CST is right for you. We can bill craniosacral treatments through your massage therapy benefits.

I invite you to bring your children for massage, for all the same reasons an adult would come. What a gift to introduce your kids to the importance of self-care and body awareness at a young age!

For babies, I can teach parents safe and effective techniques to do at home that can help with sleep, colic, crying, digestion and even torticollis. Massage is a beautiful way for parents and babies to bond.
